The Indian-American actor Kal Penn has decided to take a break from Hollywood to work as Associate Director in the Office of Public Liaison.

His primary job responsibility will be to connect President Obama with the Asian American communities. That’s an easy job if you ask me. President Obama had a Pakistani roomate in college so he is not a stranger to the Asian culture. In a recent interview, Obama said he knows how to cook Pakistani dishes even.

Kal Penn is best known for his role in Harold & Kumar go to White Castle in which he played a role of a pot head and played it damn well. I wonder if White house did any drug screening lol.

He is taking this job a bit too seriously, thinking of it as a fresh start to his identity. He now wants to be called Kalpen Modi, which is his given name. I don’t think so Kuuuuuumar!!!

He said the only difference between his new job and Hollywood is that he now wears a suit to work. Everything else is the same including smoking danks and partying with super models. Way to go Kuuuuumar!!!
