I actually wanted to use another “F” word here but I didn’t dare…because America isn’t getting fleeced, it’s getting f*d.
I have never been an advocate for Welfare unless someone needs some emergency funds to “get them by”.  I don’t believe anyone should be given a free ride.  No one who has a half a brain and the ability to do any type of job at all – including cleaning gutters and packing groceries – should be supported by the government, aka, you and me.

Anyone who ever studied American history knows that the first official Labor Day celebration was held in New York City on September 5, 1882. Â This was the first time that an organized demonstration of support for all of America’s workers (laborers, actually) was held.
Having owned a nanny agency, an employment agency, and having been an employer, I have always been an advocate for the working class – anyone who needs a paycheck.  I have supported whatever cause they were working for, and I have applauded their efforts to make their lives, and those of their fellow Americans, better for their labors.

Like many people, I’ve spent hours this weekend doing errands.  What I witnessed was truly amazing, no – truly disgusting.  When it comes to teaching kids how to behave, especially in public, I have to wonder where society dropped the ball.
We’ve all seen bratty kids. Â They are usually in the toy aisle or the candy aisle screaming like banshees for something that Mom is refusing to buy. Â And we’ve all seen how different moms handle the situation. Â Personally, I like the moms who pick their little brats up off the floor and let them know what sort of torments will indeed befall them if they choose to continue. Â Depending on mom’s tone of voice and her facial expression, even a toddler in diapers gets the picture.

With the national unemployment rate hovering around 10%, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that 90% of the population is duly employed.
Or does it? Â This 10% unemployment figure, however, is based on false information, data that is unreliable and virtually meaningless, and economic research akin to double blind studies in the medical field. Â Because “double blind” is exactly what these economists are if they want the world to believe that only 10% of the U.S. population is “unemployed”.

As if we don’t have enough to worry about,  we now hear the US Postal Service barely has enough money to make it another two months.  They are paying employees to leave, suggesting such severe cutbacks as 3 deliveries a week, and even worse – private mail boxes that you would rent and basically go get your own darn mail every day!
Personally, I’d be devastated to lose not only my home mail delivery, but my postal carrier, Bernie. Â Bernie helps me in so many ways. Â She not only makes sure I get my mail on time, she happily divides it into little piles to make my reading and bill paying time more efficient.
