I am no fan of Michael Vick.  I had never even heard of him until he was arrested for animal abuse.   Not just allowing dogs to fight to their deaths, but torturing them to the point they were so vicious that they needed to be in cages until they were brought into the ring – to kill or die fighting.

I didn’t know he played football until his name was emblazoned all over the papers with people arguing back and forth about his alleged guilt, or worse, it was OK what he did.

Who doesn’t know Usain Bolt? The fastest man in the world, who has shattered all records even his own. He has been honored by the City of Berlin who presented him with 3 tons of an actual piece from the Berlin Wall. Strange isn’t it, what in the hell does he need to do with 3 tons of wall.

With a record 15th grand slam title win, Roger Federer has become The True Legend of the Game. He beat Pete Sampras record of 14 major title wins but it did not happen easily. The match went into overtime with the last set going up to mind boggling 16 points which is a record for Wimbeldon. Andy Roddick did not make it easy at all.

Both the players are awesome but there can only be one winner. The final score was 5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6 and  16-14 Federer. I mean, it is just amazing to see two players playing at this level for so long. The game went on for more than 4 hours in which Roger Federer served more than 50 Aces! The game went on for 4hrs and 17 mins and at the end Federer stands alone!!

Pete Sampras was among the spectators enjoying the marathon of a game from the Royal box. His first return to Wimbeldon since he last played there.

In women’s final, Serena Williams beat her sister Venus Williams to win the title. She improved her record against sister Venus to 11-10 overall.
